Several questions to ask before you buy a computer

Actually there are many things you have to consider before buying a computer whether it is for home or business. We listed four questions to help you to figure out what and why you have to consider before you spend your money.

What are you going to use it for?

The very first thing you have to know is the reason you buy the computer for. You have to consider what type of softwares or applications you want to run on the computer. If you are going to run complex applications on that machine, such as technical and modelling sofwares (CAD sofware, CAM software, CAE software) or complex 3D games, then you have to buy computer with higher specification. But if you only need it for simple business tasks, such as writing documents, making presentations, you don't need a computer with a very high specification. You don't have to pay for something you don't need. Roughly speaking, you don't need a bomb to kill a fly.

Do you need expandability?

The other thing you must consider is the expandability. Expandability is about the possibility to upgrade your computer in the future. Can you add another memory card? Can you add a second hard disk? Can your video chipset support higher resolutions if you use a larger screen? How many USB ports it has? or even Does it have USB ports? Can your mainboard support higher(future) processors? etc. But, do you need it?

Does size matter?

This is a very common question. If you have a large space then size doesn't matter. But if you have a very limited space where size matters, choosing a smaller one will be better.
